So yesterday’s final tally was 11 cups of water which is 3 more than the goal. I was so happy when I went from 9 to 10 to 11 cups. Today marks day 2 of our challenge and my goal is still to get at least 8 cups. The day started off on less of a strong foot. By lunch, I only had about two cups but I was planning to get in some more water before dinner.
Although I was worried about not reaching my goal, I still did, during the afternoon hours, I began to get more and more thirsty and realized that I needed to drink more water. And guys, the app and counter really helped give me a visual so that I didn’t have to worry about forgetting how much water I drank. Also, the reminder app helped keep me on track so I knew that I needed to make sure I was staying hydrated.
So how was Day 1?
Well, it was insightful. When people say that drinking a lot of water helps you feel fuller, they’re telling the truth. Every time I sat down to eat a meal, I wasn’t that hungry. I also had a good amount of energy and was never SUPER thirsty. I never got hangry or upset and I felt great.
Not much has changed since yesterday but I still do feel great and my body doesn’t feel heavy like it does when I’m very thirsty so I’d call that a plus. Anyway, make sure you keep you eyes out for day three’s post about how it’s going so far, and on day 7, I will be doing an overall review. So, make sure you keep your eyes open for tomorrow’s post and today’s final tally.
